Basically, a very small nursery! We grow perennials and houseplants, and create handmade home decor and gift items using dried florals and materials from plants grown right at home. We sell at local vendors markets, our Sip & Shops, and we now take online orders for local pick-up!
Tried and true perennials we love and continue to grow at Queen Street Gardens for their beauty, reliability and vigorous growth. Lots of native options and no invasives. Inventory is limited so shop early in the season!
Perennials grown from seed this season using the "Winter Sowing" method to produce large and hearty plants. Lots of native options and no invasives. We're heavy-handed when sowing the seeds so you get multiple plants per container - a great value!
Arrangements in glass jars featuring flowers grown at Queen Street Gardens. These make an excellent host gift, or treat yourself! Limited quantities available as the growing season allows.
Houseplants potted with cheeky sayings that are low maintenance (we promise, almost idiot-proof!). We don't grow anything we can't easily take care of - it's a rule! Varieties require simply bright light (succulents) or bright indirect to low light (the rest) and watering only once a week.
Bouquets made from florals grown and dried at Queen Street Gardens. You can't kill these flowers and they last forever... how romantic! Add a dried bouquet to your space for a long-lasting vintage touch. Limited quantities each season - don't delay!
Indoor wreaths add a pop of colour to your home decor, featuring florals grown and dried at Queen Street Gardens. Why not perk up a bedroom, closet or interior entrance door, or add some character to an empty wall space?
All-occasion greeting cards featuring flowers grown and pressed at Queen Street Gardens. Blank on the inside for your personal message to let someone know you care. Pairs well with a plant ;)
10x10'' shadow frames featuring florals grown and pressed at Queen Street Gardens. Add some natural colour to your shelf or wall - these make a great start or addition to a gallery wall.
Second-hand plant pots have been "rescued" and given new life (literally) to grow our low-maintenance houseplants.
A portion of sales of "Rescue Pots" will be donated to animal/wildlife rescue organizations.
